The yoga bag is finally ready! It’s made of laminated cotton – a fabric that’s totally wipeable. I really wanted to try a tote bag style, rather than an over the shoulder sling bag. This way, you can lay a towel, water bottle, etc. in the bag too. I think it’s a more hygienic way to protect your mat. It won’t absorb any sweat or hold onto other moisture (like rain or snow, or a spilled water bottle.) This fabric is very flexible too, and the bag can fold up well for traveling, or storing in a locker or cubby while you’re in yoga class.
Here are some of the newly finished 8×14 oilcloth zipper bags. They make great cosmetic bags. They’re big enough to hold a travel pack of baby wipes and a few diapers, for you mamas. They are great for holding anything that might get wet or messy, too, like snacks or art supplies.
